Where is the Collapse?

One thing that occurred to me after watching Infinity War was the fact that eliminating 50% of all life on Earth would probably lead to a few problems. Like, you know, a complete collapse of infrastructure. While others are scrutinizing each frame from every teaser, analyzing plot points and trying to guess at character appearances, the only thing I can think is "Why do these people still have electricity?" During such an apocalyptic event, access to basic resources would become incredibly difficult, if not impossible. Fuel and food would cease to move, as 50% of the vehicles would be clogging the roads. All forms of government would cease to exist. You'd basically have Mad Max without the mushroom clouds...oh wait, no one is monitoring all the nuclear facilities, so we'd just have Mad Max.

I think showing such a future would be really cool to see in the MCU, and it would really help raise the cinematic stakes. Here's hoping for a Nuclear Wasteland in the next movie!
