Since it's the Superbowl, now is as good a time as any to remind everyone about the NFL superhero who was featured on a cover with Spider-Man. Don't believe me? Take a look:

Words don't do this justice. I mean, what could wrong with mixing sports fandom with comic books? The two audiences have so much overlap.

In all honesty, I want to see this character in the Avengers movies. He would be such a great addition to the cast. I'm sure Thanos, even with all of the infinity stones combined, would never see a tackle coming.
