Daily Comics Digression #18: Remember When Godzilla Fought Thor Over a Building?

So this one is going to be pretty short, but I thought I would take a moment and remind everyone that this once happened in a comic:

Man, do I love comics. It feels like this level of insanity is unique to this medium. Where else can you see a giant lizard from a Japanese franchise get into a contest of strength with the Norse god of Thunder as imagined as an American superhero? It's so crazy that it fits right in with everything else that happens in comics. Go ahead and let that sink in for a bit. Whenever we get tempted to take comics too seriously, it's nice to remember the absurd roots of the hobby and take comfort in the fact that as long as people are having fun, there is hope for the industry.
